LG knew about a problem with the design of the control panel. They should have notified consumers so it could have been replaced under warranty. Instead, they issued a service bulletin that was difficult to locate on the internet & did not make any attempt to alert consumers of this “known problem”. This part works perfectly and was an easy install. Very good product & reasonable price.
