My old hinges went bad, early signs we didn't pickup on was the light sometimes staying on. Then the door was ajar when the light was on you could see light sneaking around the seal on a corner. A slight push the door would close but it was clear the hinges were shot. I did not use the new brackets into the body of the oven, just replaced the door hinges. Took about 20 minutes. Door now opens and closes great. It's weird how they fail, the hinges are not something you would think would fail with their heavy duty design but they clearly do. I hope to get another 10 years out of the oven.
